How to prepare for a consultation:

It’s important to remember that medical aesthetics are a medical service; they are not beauty treatments. These treatments involve the possibility of downtime and the potential for complications. Please read through this page to help prepare you for your treatment.

How do I know what to book?

Per the updated TGA regulations of March 2024, we can no longer list what services we can provide. As such, you are not expected to pick specific treatments when booking online. When booking please note your current concerns you’d like to address in the comment box, and our cosmetic nurse, Sarah, will discuss this with you before your treatment.

All consultations can be booked online as either a new or returning patient.

As a new or returning patient, you can have a complimentary 15-minute consultation (no treatment on the day) to discuss potential treatment planning and costs.

Consultation with treatment for collagen-stimulating treatments is available to book online as a new (if treatment on the day is suitable) or returning patient. Please add in the comment section what area/s you are interested in treating. Prices start from $900.

For no-shows or late cancellations (less than 48 hours), you will be billed the full amount of your treatment before you can make another appointment.

Things to remember to maintain your safety:

To ensure you have the best results possible, you will need to reschedule  treatments to address volume loss, asymmetries or contouring if you are experiencing any of the following:

  • If you feel like you are coming down with something or not feeling well
  • If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, such as a runny nose, cough or a fever
  • Please inform us if you have any planned or emergency dental treatments two weeks before or after your treatment. These include teeth cleaning, fillings, crowns, root canal treatments, or dental implants.
  • If you have a flare-up or uncontrolled auto-immune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, thyroid conditions, etc
  • If you are having surgery or some other invasive medical procedure such as a biopsy or colonoscopy

Why are these factors an issue?

When you are suffering from an illness or under stress, your immune system is triggered. As such, the immune system can recognise the aesthetic material as ‘foreign’, which can cause tenderness, prolonged swelling, lumpiness, and infection.

If any of the above apply to you before your appointment, please let us know within 48 hours of your scheduled treatment. If you wake up feeling unwell on the day of your appointment, please call the clinic, and we will do our best to reschedule the appointment.

Swelling, bruising and downtime:

Swelling and bruising sometimes cannot be avoided. Treatments preformed by a cosmetic nurse involve needles, and so there is always the possibility for some degree of downtime. If you have an essential social event such as a wedding or meeting and aren’t uncomfortable with people knowing you have a medical aesthetic treatment we suggest waiting until you can have downtime to receive the treatment.
