Loss of Elasticity

Loss of Elasticity

As we age, skin loses its laxity and elasticity giving a droopy aesthetic. Skin has many layers, the epidermis, dermis, hypodermis and subcutaneous muscular atrophic system SMAS layer. There are many levels that skin can be tightened depending on the desired depth of the tightening.

At the outer most layer, treatments consisting of Radio Frequency (RF) waves assist in tightening the structure if the skin by creating measurable electrical currents that reshape and contract the skin’s collagen and then tighten the surface of the skin. RF energy penetrates both the epidermis and the dermis to tighten and rejuvenate the skin and causes no damage to existing skin cells.

Plasma Rich in Growth Factors injected directly into the skin results in instant firming, improving the flaccidity of the area as well as internally producing pro collagen and elastin, boosting the natural tissue repair, strengthening and rejuvenation.

At the deeper layers, skin can be tightened using sonic Ultrasound to stimulate collagen production and repair skin elasticity from within or with High Frequency Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) waves which create a micro-injury in the muscular layer and as the body heals itself, lifts and tightens the skin.
